ILM workshop services: precision and innovation for industry and research

Our mechanical workshop offers high-precision manufacturing and design solutions for industrial customers and research institutes. We have many years of experience in the manufacture of experimental demonstrators and inspection and test equipment, which are often based on optical processes. Our range of services extends from simple component production to the manufacture of complex apparatus. Economically attractive batch sizes range from single items to small prototype series in the 2-digit range.

Our range of services

Development & design

  • Customised production of components and assemblies, flexibly tailored to your requirements. Based on your simple sketch, we also create the technical production drawing with the parts if necessary.

Additive and subtractive manufacturing

  • Processing of various materials: fibre composites, plastics, non-ferrous metals and steel.
  • 3D printing: High-precision additive manufacturing technologies. Nano printers for optical and very small parts, resin printers, filament printers for prototypes and small series.
  • CNC/CAM-controlled turning and milling: high-precision machining for complex geometries.
  • Conventional manufacturing processes: cutting and non-cutting processes for customised solutions.
  • Production of optical components: Precision machining for high-quality optical components.
  • Surface finishing: anodising, polishing and other finishing processes to optimise material properties.

Your reliable partner

Our workshop is available, for example, as a development or test workshop for both industry and other research institutions. If required, mechanical solutions can be supplemented by in-house electronics. We are characterised by speed, flexibility and reliable costs.
